compLexity have defeated Homeless 2-0 (16-7 de_inferno, 19-16 de_cache) to advance to the upper bracket final at ESEA Invite Season 15 Global Finals.

coL started the match with a quick mid-to-B split on the terrorist side of de_inferno, giving them the pistol round as well as the two following save rounds to go up three-to-nothing.

Homeless stopped their opponents' A attack on the first gun round, but couldn't hold on to B and wound up having to save. Now down 1-5, Carey "frozt" Kertenian's side started a comeback.

They won four straight rounds in A, including a three-on-five retake led by Ryan "fREAKAZOiD" Abadir's quad kill. compLexity won again as soon as they attacked B, and then found a hole in Homeless' A defense.

Up 7-5, Joshua "steel" Nissan bested Spencer "hiko" Martin in a one-on-one in B to bring his team within one, but losing the next round broke Homeless' money and they lost the half 6-9.

sgares' coL were heavy favorites in the domestic clash

Kory "semphis" Friesen's first triple kill gave coL the pistol round to go up 11-6, and after defeating Homeless' early buy, he put up another hat trick as compLexity extended their lead to 13-6.

A clever play hiding in the back of the B bombsite by Sean "sgares" Gares helped him get three kills of his own to make it 14-6, and another Friesen triple in middle gave coL map point.

Friesen's aggressive middle push got him another double, but the rest of his team got taken out as Homeless stayed alive for one more round, before Martin's one-on-one win cemented coL's 16-7 victory.

Abadir started de_cache with a triple kill to secure his team an early lead, but doubles from Martin and Gares tied the game at one, forcing Homeless on two consecutive save rounds.

fREAKAZOiD had a strong series

Down 1-3, Homeless won the next round before going on a six round losing stretch, all of a sudden finding themselves in a massive 2-9 pit on the defensive side of the map.

A desperation buy finally won Homeless a round, and solid plays from Kertenian and Abadir allowed the underdogs to win four of their own in a row, finishing the half down 6-9.

Both Nissan and Kertenian scored doubles in the pistol round to tie the game. Abadir then put up an AK47 ace, and all of a sudden Homeless had not only erased a 2-9 deficit, but gone up 10-9.

A one-on-two by Martin, which saw Homeless not plant on time, tied the game at ten before he was spammed through a smoke by Neil "montE" Montgomery, putting Homeless up 12-10 after coL's save.

n0thing & co prevailed after a close second map

It was then compLexity's turn to gain momentum, as they retook the B bombsite, Gares put up a SCAR-20 triple and a double from Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert all of sudden put coL back in the lead.

Friesen put in three SCAR-20 kills of his own to give compLexity game point, but Homeless fought back, winning three somewhat easy rounds to force overtime in the match.

compLexity was dominant in the first half, easily winning rounds one and three and overcoming a two-on-two afterplant in the second one thanks to two M4A4 kills by Friesen.

Montgomery's double kill kept Homeless alive for one more round, but ultimately it was Martin who would finish the second map as well, this time with a quad kill, to secure a 19-16 win.
